Anxiety / Depression

Anxiety and low mood can be a part of life. However, if you suffer from generalised anxiety and experience depression and low mood over a number of months, there are number of ways that you can alleviate this. DBT/RO-DBT behavioural techniques and psychodynamic therapy can help to get to the root cause.
ADHD

ADHD and ADD can adversely affect attention and focus and cause difficulties at work and in relationships. Claire can help identify and work on the issues of executive control and emotional regulation that cause such relational and task orientated problems.
OCD

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can cause great distress and frustration to people both in their personal and professional lives. Claire can help identify the root of the OCD behaviours in order to decrease such adverse effects on daily life. Behaviours may include intrusive and ruminative thoughts, checking behaviours, issues around germs and contamination, or trichotillomania and dermatillomania.
Personality Dissorders

Claire is trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) specifically designed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder)
Autism / Neurodiversity

Claire uses a new effective therapy, RO-DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour)to help people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) find a life that fits with the unique and rich way they process their inner and outer world.
Trauma

Traumatic experiences in childhood and adulthood can have a profound effect on the mind and body (PTSD, Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorders). Claire has trained in a number of approaches which can help alleviate the symptoms and decrease flashbacks.
Phobias

Phobias, like OCD, can cause a lot of distress and disruption to daily life. Claire can help to find the root of the phobia using talking, behavioural and somatic approaches.
Eating Dissorders

Eating Disorders (Anorexia. Binge Eating Disorder) can be helped using both DBT and RO-DBT and general talking therapy. Get in touch to find out more.
